SmartWay Logistics Expands into Southeastern Europe

UTRECHT, Netherlands –8 December 2010 –SmartWay Logistics, an asset-free provider of transportation management services announces today that it has opened a new office in Romania. The office will leverage SmartWay Logistics’ core competency in transportation management and initially offer carrier management services. The expansion provides SmartWay Logistics the ability to offer additional pan-European, low cost solutions for its clients.
SmartWay Logistics has recruited Cristian Stan to lead the expansion. Mr. Stan brings logistics, transport and distribution experience in a variety of transport modes to the organisation. Mr. Stan is responsible for creating new relationships with carriers who can provide the quality service, desired communication platform and cost effective solutions that are synonymous with SmartWay Logistics’ service offering.

The new Romanian office in Bucharest enhances SmartWay's geographical reach from its existing facilities in Utrecht, Netherlands and Gniezno, near Poznan in Poland.
